Note: Just something that I’m working on. It’s not playable. I don’t know how to win it or if it’s winnable by one person or as a group. And I don’t think it’s an rpg, but it may be a card game with rpg elements depending on the cards.

The sky is falling and you and your friends have to go tell the king about it. Don’t get eaten by Foxy Loxy before you get there.

Set-up:

Obtain a bunch of business card sized paper because this is a card game, and when you start this game it’s business time. Write each character’s name on a card, write each location’s name on a card, write each hazard’s name on a card, write each item’s name on a card, and write each event’s name on a card. Draw pictures of each name, of each location, of each hazard, of each item and each event on each card.

Obtain 6 sided dice. Obtain lots of 6 sided dice. When you play an item, event, or hazard dice may have to be rolled.

Obtain counters. Lots of counters. Using items, playing events or hazards may cost you counters.

Characters

Each player picks one character from the list below. One person must be Chicken Licken. Grab the card and play it in front of you.

    * Chicken Licken
* Henny Penny
* Drakey Lakey
* Cocky Locky
* Ducky Lucky
* Goosey Loosey
* Turkey Lurkey

Special Characters

    * Foxy Loxy: Place Foxy Loxy in the deck of cards.

Scenes

Play

Start: Shuffle all the other cards into a deck and each player is dealt two cards. Each player receives 10 counters and one die. Chicken Licken’s player goes first and play rotates clockwise, each player receives one turn to play one or more cards.

Set-up the location cards. Put the castle at one end and the barnyard at the other. Then randomly place the other cards in a row. This is the place Chicken Licken and friends must follow to the castle.

On your turn: You must draw cards back up to two in your hand, and you get one token. You must play a card, discard a card, or give, sell, or trade a card away. If you have a hazard or event card in your hand, and the location that you and your friends are on doesn’t have one, you must play it and play the number of required counters. If you don’t have the tokens, you must pass without playing or beg for tokens.

When an event or hazard is played, the card is placed on the current location. Then counters are placed on the event. If an event or hazard is played and you have an item that might work, you can try paying with counters and using the item.

When an item works, you get all the counters.

Location Cards: 20 cards

Hazard: 20 cards

Event: 15 cards

Foxy Loxy: 1 card

Foxy Loxy likes to eat barnyard animals for breakfast. If in your hand, and you can’t play any other card, you have to play Foxy Loxy and you are eaten. Once eaten, you can start over with a character that hasn’t been used yet.

Item: 25 cards

Each pip equals one counter. 6 always fails.
